"Through the workings of this group, GSM India seeks to
take leadership in enabling new technology and applications to reach
the customer."
Previously known as the ‘Interoperable Roaming’ Working
Group, the major accomplishment of this group was to organise and
bring about ‘Interoperable Prepaid Roaming’ between all
the GSM operators in India.
The group is tasked with evaluating new technologies and software
and their usefulness and practicability to the industry in India.
Thereafter finding the strategy to implement and integrate the technology
among all the operators and members in the country. |
